Technames Inc. is a recognized leader in the executive research industry. Founded in 1982, we have been a valuable resource for thousands of recruiters worldwide to identify candidates in every possible industry and develop IT tools for the recruiting industry. Since 1982, we have completed over 7,500 research assignments for Fortune 1000 companies, Executive Search Firms and Boutique clients.

John Moed, President

John leads the development and delivery of solutions for our in-house research team, as well as development of our SearchTeam™ Database and other Technames Software Solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and other Microsoft Technologies. His team focuses on staying one step ahead of the research industry.
Prior to Technames, John was a Sr. Hdq Support Engineer at Siemens. Prior to Siemens, John was a Sr Systems Engineer at Dialogic (acquired by Intel). During his career, John has also worked in MIS at CS First Boston, Alex Brown and Matson Navigation.
John attended the University California at Davis where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. John also holds the MCSE and CNE certifications. He lives in Danville, CA, with his wife, Jennifer, and two children, Amanda and Alexander.
